In this lesson the students first viewed the works of Keith Morrison and expanded on the narrative of his works. From a still life they drew Contour and gestural drawings.
The next session the students viewed the Art 21 video featuring Lari Pittman. We talked about his statement of "creating the verb" within his art and what it means to animate something. The students were then to animate the still life in the classroom. They used tempera paint.
